Thanks to its immediate playability, this Skyhawk suits intermediate to expert guitarists seeking a responsive instrument. The three MFD pickups effortlessly cover punchy funk, modern pop/rock, textured indie, and incisive blues. The stable vibrato encourages subtle effects as well as moderate dive bombs.

Sound Characteristics

The MFD single-coil pickups deliver more body and attack than a traditional single-coil while maintaining the expected definition and dynamics. The 5-position selector switch offers warm neck tones, scooped intermediate positions perfect for rhythm, and a sharp bridge position that cuts through the mix. The alder body provides balance and singing mids, while the maple/rosewood combination adds brightness and warmth. The Dual Fulcrum vibrato preserves sustain and tuning stability even during intense vibrato playing.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

To maintain tuning stability and vibrato response on the 25.5" scale, opt for nickel steel strings in gauges 10-46 (or 9-42 for a softer feel). A curved capo suited to a 9.5" radius will ensure uniform intonation. A standard strap and a universal guitar stand will perfectly complement the setup. A gig bag is included for transport.
