The GEWA Pure range: workshop quality for the first years

With the Pure Ensemble series, GEWA offers acoustic violins designed to accompany musicians from their very first learning stages. Each instrument is play-ready, prepared in the GEWA workshop in Germany, an essential step to ensure comfortable playability, good stability, and a more motivating start, especially for smaller sizes like 1/16.

For whom and in what playing contexts?

This 1/16 acoustic violin is mainly aimed at beginners (children) starting in music school, private lessons, or conservatory. Its size facilitates learning hand and bow positions, while its "ensemble" configuration covers essential needs: basic technique work, introductory classical repertoire, intonation and rhythm exercises, and first recitals.

Sound quality

The solid spruce top promotes a responsive vibration and natural projection, useful for achieving a clear sound even with light bow pressure. The solid maple back and ribs provide structure and precision, contributing to better note definition and a pleasant balance between brightness and warmth. The whole is complemented by a dark reddish-brown varnish that highlights the violin's traditional aesthetic, with the presence of purfling for a refined finish.
