The Europa Student 1/2 fits within the spirit of study double basses: priority on solidity, stability, and a reassuring feel. Its gambe shape (sloping shoulders) is particularly appreciated for facilitating access to higher positions. The brown-golden shaded alcohol varnish finish, with purfling, gives it a traditional aesthetic while remaining perfectly suited for intensive use.
