Historical Context and Positioning in the Range

Inspired by classic "pear" horns, this small effect instrument follows the tradition of sound accessories used in brass bands, theater, and orchestral percussion to punctuate a scene or add an unexpected color to an arrangement.

Who This Drum/Instrument Is For

Ideal for percussionists (from beginners to advanced), brass bands, festive ensembles, or any live setup seeking an immediate, visual, and playful effect. Perfect for transitions, breaks, and "cartoon" accents.

Features and Innovations

The rubber bulb allows simple control of attack and volume: a short press produces a sharp signal, while a longer press evolves the sound. The red cord facilitates transport and reduces the risk of dropping on stage.

Sound

The sound is a characteristic horn tone, both sharp and easily recognizable, with dynamics directly linked to the gesture. The response is immediate, making it an excellent accessory for rhythmic effects, punctuations, and stage interventions.
