Historical Context and Positioning Within the Range

Gibraltar is a recognized reference for drum hardware, appreciated for its reliability both in the studio and on stage. The SC-BDPM fits this logic: a practical accessory designed to solve a concrete problem encountered with small-diameter bass drums. Within the range, it is positioned as a comfort and performance tool, ideal for adapting a jazz, bop, or compact kit to the demands of a modern pedal.

Who This Riser Is For

The Gibraltar SC-BDPM is aimed at beginner, intermediate, and advanced drummers who play on an 18-inch or 20-inch bass drum and want to regain a natural pedal feel, close to that of a larger bass drum. It is particularly relevant for styles that prioritize control and precision, such as jazz, bop, pop, funk, and all "compact kit" configurations where ergonomics must remain impeccable despite reduced space.
