Questions frequently asked
What is the size of the Gibraltar SC-CFS/4 felts?
Each felt measures 3/4 inch, which is 19 mm according to the specified reference.
How many felts are included in this pack?
The package contains 4 grey felts intended for cymbal mounting.
Are these felts suitable for a crash or a ride cymbal?
These accessories are designed for cymbals. They can be used with crashes, rides, and splashes to create a soft interface with the stand.
Where should the felts be placed on a cymbal stand?
The mounting can be done above and/or below the cymbal. The 19 mm felts cushion the contact with the nut or wing nut and help prevent metal marking.
Do the felts affect how tightly the cymbal can be secured?
A felt interface contributes to a more controlled tightening and helps preserve the cymbal's freedom to vibrate.
