Context and Positioning

Part of the ''57 Classic' family, the Gibson '57 Classic Plus follows the recipe of the late 1950s 'Patent Applied For' humbuckers, with a few extra windings as found on some vintage examples. This overwinding provides higher output while preserving the smoothness and three-dimensionality that made the vintage Gibson sound legendary.

Who This Pickup Is For

Perfect for blues, classic rock, or jazz guitarists seeking an expressive bridge pickup capable of moving from creamy cleans to singing overdrive without harshness. It's also suitable for those looking to enhance the presence and sustain of a vintage set without sacrificing dynamics or harmonic finesse.
