Sound Characteristics

The solid Sitka spruce top delivers a bright attack and luminous highs. The maple back and sides tighten the low end for focused, clear bass with excellent note separation. The "Dove" square-shoulder dreadnought shape and hand-sculpted X bracing ensure wide projection, long sustain, and excellent tuning stability in standard or slightly dropped tuning. Plugged in, the piezo under-saddle pickup paired with the LR Baggs VTC preamp reproduces a natural and balanced tone, with volume and tone controls discreetly mounted inside the soundhole for quick adjustments on stage.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

To preserve dynamics and tuning stability, choose phosphor bronze acoustic strings in gauge .012-.053, a capo suitable for 6-string acoustics (nut width 43.8 mm / 1.725"), a sturdy strap, and a 6.35 mm / 1/4" jack cable (straight or right-angle) for output/strap button. A case humidifier is strongly recommended to maintain stable humidity levels.
