The 1957 SJ-200 Light Aged pays tribute to the golden era models with premium luthiery (AAA flamed maple, checkerboard marquetry on the back) and a handcrafted aged finish by Murphy Lab, delivering the aesthetics and feel of a sought-after vintage instrument.

The thermally aged Sitka spruce top gains in responsiveness and harmonic richness, while the carved X-bracing maximizes projection and sustain. The AAA flamed maple back and sides provide precise attack, "piano-like" lows, focused mids, and sparkling highs, typical of the Super Jumbo format. The four-bar mustache rosewood bridge, combined with bone nut and saddle, optimizes vibration transmission for clear articulation and a wide dynamic range.

To preserve and enhance your SJ-200, we recommend phosphor bronze steel strings with a gauge of .012-.053 suitable for 6-string acoustic guitars, a case humidifier to stabilize humidity, a quality strap with headstock attachment, and a capo for 6-string acoustic guitars.
