The pair of 80s Tribute Humbuckers delivers a dense grain, a nice natural compression, and a precise attack, ideal for palm-muting and fast rhythms. The mahogany body enhances low mids and promotes long sustain, while the mahogany neck provides a sense of continuity and warmth. On the control side, the 2 independent volumes + 1 master tone configuration and the 3-position toggle switch facilitate register changes (neck pickup for a fuller sound, bridge pickup for more bite, intermediate positions for balance). The hand wiring with Orange Drop capacitors aims for a consistent and usable response, especially when playing loud and distorted.
