A Multiac with a Classical Temperament in the Godin Range

The Godin Multiac Grand Concert SA is aimed at guitarists who appreciate the tradition of classical guitar but want a modern, reliable, and silent solution on stage. Its neck joint at the twelfth fret and its classical-style nut width make it a natural bridge between "nylon" lutherie and amplification requirements (concert, studio, orchestration, arrangements).

For Whom and in Which Styles

This guitar is particularly suited for classical guitarists (intermediate to advanced level) seeking a precise amplified sound without the usual microphone feedback issues. It is also very suitable for stage musicians who alternate between classical, Latin music, nylon fingerstyle, acoustic pop, or work in electro contexts, thanks to the versatility of its electronics and the playing comfort typical of the "Grand Concert" style.

Sound Characteristics

The solid cedar top provides a warm signature, with rich mids and a soft attack, ideal for nuances and expressiveness in fingerstyle playing. The double-chambered mahogany body contributes to a balanced and controlled response, particularly relevant when plugged in: the sound remains defined, with good sustain, and excellent clarity of chords as well as melodic lines. Combined with the RMC preamp, the whole delivers a clear and dynamic amplified output, designed for the stage and modern systems, with the added bonus of access to synth mode to radically expand the sonic palette.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

This guitar is strung with nylon strings (HTC): it is recommended to use nylon string sets of equivalent gauge to maintain the original balance and response. It is delivered with a gig bag, convenient for transport and regular travel.
