Historical Context and Positioning in the Range
The tamborim is an iconic instrument in samba drum kits, where the strand stick is sought after for its articulated and dynamic sound. This 2-strand PVC stick follows a simple and effective approach: immediate grip, clear response, and a format suitable for rehearsals as well as parades.
Who This Tamborim Stick Is For
It is suitable both for beginners who want an easy-to-control stick and for intermediate batucadeiros seeking fast and consistent playing. Perfect for samba, batucada, and percussion ensembles where rhythmic precision and tamborim projection are essential.
Features and Innovations
Made of PVC plastic, this stick emphasizes durability and consistency. The 26.3 cm strands allow modulation of the attack depending on the striking angle, facilitating sequences of single strokes, doubles, and more "swept" effects on the drumhead.
Sound
With its PVC strands, the strike produces a sharp attack and marked definition, particularly useful for distinguishing accents and ghost notes in samba playing. The result is a direct sound with good rhythmic clarity, while maintaining some rebound flexibility depending on drumhead tension and hand technique.
