Gretsch Drums CE-F405-WG - CATALINA EVO 10/12/14/20/14SD WALNUT GLAZE

Historical context and position within the range

The Gretsch Catalina EVO brings the visual identity and spirit of the renowned Catalina series into the world of electronic drums. With its Walnut Glaze finishing, realistically proportioned shells and chrome hardware, it moves away from the usual compact electronic drum format to offer a stage presence closer to that of a traditional acoustic drum kit.

This kit is positioned as an ambitious electronic solution for drummers who want to play, rehearse, record and develop their technique without giving up a full-size configuration. Its advanced module, full-size cymbals and numerous connectivity options make it an expandable instrument, equally suited to home and studio use.

Who is the Gretsch Catalina EVO electronic drum kit for?

The Catalina EVO is aimed at intermediate to advanced drummers, while remaining intuitive enough to support serious progress from the first years of practice. Its full-size format is particularly well suited to musicians accustomed to the feel of an acoustic drum kit who want to retain familiar ergonomic reference points.

Thanks to its wealth of sounds and expressive response, it adapts to pop, rock, funk, metal, gospel, jazz fusion and electronic styles. The kick drum, equipped with a dual sensor, responds effectively to fast playing and can accommodate a double pedal, making it especially appealing to modern rock and metal drummers.
