Electromatic Jet: The Gretsch Spirit in an Accessible and High-Performance Version

The Electromatic series is designed to capture the Gretsch aesthetic and sonic personality in an electric guitar built for both stage and studio. This Jet Club adopts the Jet shape and focuses on a modern design (coil splits, treble bleed) to offer a wide palette of sounds, from dense and articulate cleans to more powerful saturations.

Who is it for, and what styles?

The Gretsch Electromatic Jet Club is aimed at ambitious beginners as well as intermediate players seeking an expressive solid-body guitar that is easy to set up and capable of covering multiple genres. With its humbuckers and coil splits, it is particularly suited for rock, blues, pop, indie, and more aggressive overdrive tones, while maintaining clarity in clean sounds.

The Sound

The mahogany body with acoustic chambers provides a warm foundation, a nice presence in the midrange, and a more "alive" response than a solid body, with a good balance between attack and sustain. The two PureVolt Twin Six humbuckers deliver a full and even sound, ideal for crunch and distortion while remaining clear on chords. The push-pull coil splits on each tone control allow for fine-tuning the character and gaining clarity and bite depending on the position, while the treble bleed on the master volume preserves the highs when lowering the volume, enabling smooth cleans without loss of definition.
