Clean and Musical Sustain Control Without Altering Your Playing
The Gruvgear FretWraps MTD is a string dampener (fret wrap) designed to achieve a cleaner, more controlled sound by limiting resonance between takes, sympathetic noises, and note bleed. Particularly useful for tapping, fast passages, precise slap playing, or demanding recordings, it is placed near the nut to tame sustain and improve definition, while remaining easy to remove or reposition as needed. This MTD Black version, adopted on American MTD basses since 2013, offers you the FretWraps solution in an officially approved variant by the brand.
