A professional string dampener for recording, live, and tapping
The Gruvgear FretWraps Ebony - Large is a professional string dampener designed for guitarists and bassists who want a cleaner signal, especially when playing gets technical. Whether you're recording in a home studio, playing on stage with high gain, or working on two-handed tapping, it helps control unwanted vibrations to gain precision and clarity.
Effortless resonance control, no tools, no modifications
Simple and highly effective, just slide the FretWrap onto the neck to cut unwanted harmonics and limit string noise. The adjustable strap allows fine-tuning of the muting level: light to preserve sustain, firmer for tight rhythms or ultra-clean tapping parts. No tools, no installation, no instrument modifications: when not in use, it quickly attaches to the headstock to stay within easy reach.
