Simple, Fast, and Musical String Noise Control
The Gruvgear FretWraps Leaf Green - Large is a professional string dampener designed for guitarists and bassists seeking a clean, controlled, and noise-free sound. By slipping it around the neck, you effectively eliminate unwanted noises (resonances, sympathetic vibrations, accidental harmonics) that commonly occur during recording, high-gain playing, or demanding techniques like tapping.
Thanks to its adjustable strap, you can precisely control the muting: light for maintaining dynamics, or more pronounced for an ultra-clean output. And when you no longer need it, it stores easily with one move on the instrument's headstock, ready for immediate reuse.

Questions frequently asked
What neck size is suitable for the FretWraps Leaf Green Large?
The Large size is the one indicated for this FretWraps Gruvgear; no neck width measurement or detailed compatible instrument list is provided.
Does the FretWraps reduce unwanted harmonics during tapping?
Its function includes reducing unwanted harmonics, sympathetic vibrations, and string noise. Use during two-hand tapping is among the advertised applications.
How to adjust the string damping?
An adjustable strap allows modifying the pressure applied on the strings. A light tightening preserves more dynamics. Stronger pressure increases resonance attenuation.
Is it necessary to modify the guitar or bass to install it?
No permanent modification or tools are required to install this string dampener.
Can the FretWraps be left on the instrument between takes?
When not in use, it can be quickly slid onto the headstock of the instrument. This position keeps it accessible without removal.
