Total control over string noise without modifying your instrument
The Gruvgear FretWraps Maple - Extra Large is an accessory designed for guitarists and bassists who want to perfectly master unwanted noises: unplayed resonances, accidental harmonics, vibrations between takes, or buzzing during technical passages. By slipping it around the neck at the nut (or higher depending on your needs), you achieve a cleaner sound and better clarity, especially appreciated in recording and high-gain setups.
Its adjustable strap allows you to tailor the amount of muting to your playing style and context: light control to preserve sustain, or firmer muting for fast runs, tapping, alternate picking sequences, and very percussive parts. No tools, no installation: you slip it on, adjust it, and play. Between songs, simply slide it up onto the headstock to keep it always within reach.

Questions frequently asked
Which guitar or bass accepts the Extra Large size?
The Extra Large size is offered for guitars and basses, featuring an adjustable strap that allows for customizing the tightness around the neck.
Does the Gruvgear FretWraps Maple Extra Large reduce nut harmonics?
Positioned at the nut, this string mute reduces unwanted harmonics and sympathetic resonance. It can also be placed higher up on the neck depending on the desired control.
Can the string muting be adjusted?
Thanks to the adjustable strap, it is possible to control the pressure applied on the strings. A lighter adjustment preserves more sustain, while a firmer tightening promotes muting during fast passages or tapping.
Is it necessary to modify the neck to install a FretWraps?
No instrument modification or tools are required to install this FretWraps Maple.
How to remove the mute between songs?
When not in use, the accessory simply slides onto the headstock of the instrument. This allows it to be kept in place between songs, particularly in concerts or studio sessions.
