A Professional String Dampener for Enhanced Precision
The Gruvgear FretWraps Maple - Medium is a string dampener designed for guitarists (and more broadly string players) who want clean playing without unwanted resonances. By positioning it near the nut or according to your needs, you immediately control unwanted vibrations that can disrupt a recording or muddy a saturated passage. Whether tapping, legato playing, tight rhythm, or studio takes where every detail counts, it acts like an "extra hand": less buzzing, less string noise, and a clearer attack. Thanks to its adjustable strap, you tailor the instrument's response to your technique and tone, while keeping a discreet accessory that is quick to remove and store.

Questions frequently asked
What is the purpose of the FretWraps Maple Medium in tapping?
The adjustable strap allows pressure on the strings to be set in order to reduce sympathetic resonances and string noises. This improves clarity when playing two-hand tapping.
Can the FretWraps Maple - Medium be installed without modifying the guitar?
Installation is done without tools or any modification to the instrument, with a quick placement near the nut.
Can the dampener be quickly removed between songs?
When not in use, the accessory can slide onto the headstock of the instrument. This position keeps it clear of the strings without having to remove it.
For which stringed instruments is the Medium size intended?
The Medium size is indicated for guitars, universal use, and stringed instruments. The description does not specify neck dimensions or provide a detailed compatibility list.
What effect does the Maple finish provide?
The Maple finish corresponds to the natural color of this Gruvgear FretWraps model. Its muting action relies on the adjustable strap designed to control unwanted harmonics and vibrations.
