A Professional String Dampener for Clean, Uncompromising Performance
The Gruvgear FretWraps Stone White - Extra Large is a professional string dampener designed to effectively control unwanted vibrations. By limiting harmonics and sympathetic resonances, it helps you achieve a more precise sound, especially useful when every detail matters: studio takes, high-gain passages, tapping licks, or technical phrasing requiring impeccable articulation.
Thanks to its adjustable strap, you can tailor the muting intensity in one move: light to preserve sustain, or more pronounced to radically clean up the strings between notes. When not needed, it quickly slips onto the headstock to stay within reach without interfering with your playing. A discreet, highly effective accessory designed for demanding musicians as well as amateurs seeking a cleaner sound.

Questions frequently asked
Does the Extra Large size fit all stringed instruments?
The advertised fit is universal, with an Extra Large size. However, the exact compatibility depends on the dimensions of the instrument’s neck.
How is the pressure of the FretWraps Stone White - Extra Large adjusted?
The adjustable strap allows modulation of the pressure applied on the strings. A lighter adjustment preserves more sustain, while a tighter fit more effectively reduces sympathetic vibrations.
Does the FretWraps reduce noise for tapping?
This string dampener is designed to limit harmonics, sympathetic resonances, and string noise. Its use is especially recommended for two-handed tapping and technical passages.
Can the dampener be quickly removed during a performance?
Once loosened, it can be slid onto the headstock to remain accessible without hindering playing.
Is any modification to the neck required to install this FretWraps?
Installation is done without tools or modifications to the instrument. Quick placement relies on the adjustable strap. The Stone White finish corresponds to the stated white color.
