Clean and Musical String Control, Without Compromising Playability
The Gruvgear FretWraps is a string control accessory designed for guitarists and bassists who want to gain precision without struggling against mechanical noise. Positioned around the neck, it acts as a soft yet effective muting device, reducing resonances that can muddy a chord, dirty a saturated passage, or interfere with demanding studio takes.
Thanks to its adjustable strap, you can tailor the damping level to your instrument and playing style: light to retain openness, firmer for a very "clean" sound in tapping, sweep picking, or fast passages. And when it's time to return to open playing, it quickly moves to the headstock to stay within reach without interrupting your session.

Questions frequently asked
What neck size is suitable for the FretWraps World Flags Green-White-Red Large?
The Large size is the one specified for this Gruvgear model. The adjustable strap allows for adapting the pressure of the mute around the neck.
Does the FretWraps reduce harmonics and string noise?
Its string mute reduces harmonics, sympathetic resonance, and unwanted buzzing. This action helps to limit mechanical noises during fast or high-gain playing.
Can this FretWraps be used for tapping?
It is designed for two-handed tapping as well as sweep picking. A tighter strap tension increases damping when string control is needed.
Is it necessary to modify the guitar or use tools for installation?

How can the mute be quickly removed during a performance?
When not in use, it quickly slides onto the headstock. This keeps it within reach to alternate between muted and open playing.
