Summary of This Collection
Part of the Strum Together series, this collection was designed to support plucked string instrument players with a simple goal: playing together with enjoyment while improving rhythmic consistency. The focus is on accompaniment and musicality: placement, pulse, smooth chord changes, and understanding playing patterns that make accompaniment more lively.
With its 112 pages, it provides a solid foundation to enhance your practice, whether working independently, in lessons, or in group settings. The "strum" spirit encourages developing a more precise right hand (attack, consistency, dynamics), better managing dynamics, and building a clean and balanced ensemble sound. The English language facilitates reading common indications (shapes, markers, common musical terms) and naturally fits a modern use of sheet music.
This collection is especially suitable for musicians wishing to expand their repertoire and establish effective accompaniment habits, with content designed for musical sharing. A useful reference for rehearsing with others, preparing group playing sessions, or simply rediscovering the pleasure of "running through" a progression with a steady tempo and homogeneous sound.
