Summary of This Book

Designed to get straight to the joy of playing, this volume of the Saxophone Play-Along Series guides you step by step: you follow the notation, first listen to the "demo" track to understand the style and expected sound, then play along with the backing tracks (accompaniment-only tracks). The lyrics are also included to help you better navigate the form and refine articulation, rhythmic placement, and breathing, especially on the sung themes.

The online audio, accessible via the code printed inside the cover, includes the PLAYBACK+ player, a particularly useful tool for effective progress: slow down a tricky passage without altering pitch, set loop points to work on a specific measure, change key to adapt the piece to your range, and adjust the panning to highlight certain elements of the accompaniment. The collection includes the following titles: East River Drive, Just The Two Of Us, Let It Flow, Make Me A Memory (Sad Samba), Mr. Magic, Take Five, Take Me There, Winelight.

Very good sheet music and audios. The level is not indicated. Attention that is quite difficult to reserve for second or even third cycles.
