Summary of This Book
This collection offers piano/vocal/guitar arrangements of the 16 tracks from the second album by this British singer-songwriter nominated for the Grammy Awards, an album that reached the top spot on the Billboard 200. Designed as a true songbook, it gathers the essential elements to perform the songs faithfully: melodic line, lyrics, and chord charts, with arrangements crafted to accompany singing on piano or guitar.
Whether you are an accompanying pianist, singer-guitarist, or teacher looking for contemporary materials, this book helps structure your work: rhythmic setup, chord progressions, vocal placement, and chorus construction. Key tracks like "Photograph", "Thinking Out Loud", "Don't", and "Sing" sit alongside more intimate pieces, perfect for varying dynamics and working on interpretation.
Thanks to the piano/vocal/guitar format, you can adapt each song to your level and style: play the accompaniment on piano (left hand/right hand), simplify some voicings, or favor guitar with vocals highlighted. It is an excellent resource for developing a "live" approach, preparing for auditions, acoustic concerts, or simply enjoying a contemporary pop repertoire.
