Summary of This Sheet Music
Designed as a working resource for jazz musicians, this collection brings together 10 tunes arranged for smooth group practice as well as solo study. Parts are provided for transposing instruments in Bb and Eb as well as for C instruments, allowing for quick assembly of a common repertoire in jam sessions, jazz classes, or combo-type ensembles.
The inclusion of detachable piano and bass parts significantly enhances playing comfort: each musician has their own sheet, the rhythm section can position itself effectively, and rehearsal organization becomes easier. The CD complements the sheet music with two versions of each piece: a full performance with the entire ensemble, and a version without the soloist part to work on improvisation, chorus construction, rhythmic accuracy, and listening skills.
