This edition dedicated to the famous Piano Sonata in A major by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (including the ever-popular "Turkish March") is based on a major musicological discovery: a previously unknown autograph unearthed in Budapest in autumn 2014. This manuscript served as the starting point for a new reading of the work, with an in-depth study and systematic comparison with all other available sources.
The result is a particularly ambitious Urtext proposal: for the first time, a large part of this masterpiece is presented in a so-called "definitive" text, established as close as possible to the sources.
