Herald 1/4 ARCHET STANDARD

A Study Bow Designed for Learning

In the world of entry-level bows, Hérald offers a solution focused on the essentials: a functional, accessible, and easy-to-handle bow. This 1/4 size model fits into a "school" equipment logic and supervised practice, with a clear goal: to allow working on posture, bow hold, and gesture consistency without complicating the equipment.

For Whom and For What Use?

This Hérald bow is intended for beginners and amateur violinists using a 1/4 size violin. It is particularly suitable for fundamental exercises (open strings, détaché, first slurs) and versatile practice: introductory classical repertoire, simple traditional music, workshops, and group lessons. It is a bow adapted for daily use when simplicity and reliability are the primary concerns.

Sound

The sound produced depends greatly on the violin, strings, and rosin, but the bow's role remains central: it influences the grip on the string, the sound stability, and the ease of producing a consistent tone. Thanks to its synthetic material construction, this bow aims for a rather direct response and a reassuring feel for learning, allowing work on attack and bow continuity without requiring advanced technique.
