A Column Solution Designed for Demanding Applications
HK Audio ELEMENTS MK2 brings the principle of large line array systems into a particularly elegant and portable column format. This range has been designed to meet the needs of rental companies, event production firms and technicians looking for high headroom, a discreet installation and smooth deployment in the field.
Its fully modular architecture makes it possible to create a sound reinforcement system suited to intimate conferences as well as larger-scale musical events. By adding mid/high modules and subwoofers, the system mainly gains in throw while maintaining consistent reproduction, including for listeners positioned far from the stage.
For DJs, Live Bands, Corporate Events and Fixed Installations
HK Audio ELEMENTS MK2 is aimed at professional DJs, bands, sound engineers, places of worship, cultural venues and event organisers. Its slim profile naturally fits into weddings, corporate parties, presentations, cocktail receptions or live performances where the aesthetics of the installation matter as much as sound quality.
The ELEMENTS MK2 110 Sub A, equipped with a 10-inch loudspeaker, is particularly well suited to speeches, conferences, background music and corporate events. For DJ sets, cover bands and performances requiring greater low-end impact, the ELEMENTS MK2 115 Sub A with its 15-inch loudspeaker offers greater acoustic pressure headroom and extended bass response.
In SMART BASE configuration, the system combines two ELEMENTS MK2 635 columns, a spacer and a 110 Sub A subwoofer for audiences of up to 250 people, depending on the musical programme, venue acoustics and desired level. The BIG BASE configuration, with the 115 Sub A subwoofer, is designed for performances for up to 500 people under the same conditions.
SnapLock, Intelligent DSP and Milan-AVB Networking for Sound Reinforcement
Each ELEMENTS MK2 635 column integrates six 3.25-inch loudspeakers combined with six phase plugs. This design provides 90-degree horizontal dispersion and controlled 5-degree vertical directivity. The result is a more consistent cover between the front row and the back of the room, with less level loss and improved speech intelligibility.
The SnapLock system mechanically connects the modules, spacer and subwoofer in a single motion, with no tools required. The robust contacts transmit the signal without visible cables between the elements, while ensuring a stable, play-free connection suited to the repeated demands of transport. The DSP automatically detects the number of connected columns and applies the appropriate midrange compensation.
The active subwoofers feature a complete DSP platform, accessible via the DSP Control software. The Flat, Contour, Voice and Remote presets make it easy to adapt the system to music playback, speech or a customised configuration. The 10-band parametric equaliser, high-pass and low-pass filters, polarity, limiter, mute and DSP Out Delay enable precise system adjustment.
Thanks to the Ethercon RJ45 connectors, ELEMENTS MK2 can be integrated into an Ethernet and Milan-AVB network. Control data and digital audio can travel over a single network cable. The DSP Out output on XLR can also send a processed signal to additional active speakers, monitors, frontfills, a Delay line or additional subwoofers, including units that are not network-compatible.
