A column solution designed for the demands of professional sound reinforcement
The HK Audio ELEMENTS MK2 range combines the elegance of a column system with the projection capabilities of line-array dispersion. It is designed for sound reinforcement providers, rental companies, cultural venues and technicians looking for a discreet system that is quick to deploy and capable of adapting to a variety of audience capacities.
Its modular format makes it possible to configure a custom system using ELEMENTS MK2 635 passive columns, the spacer and an active 110 Sub A or 115 Sub A subwoofer. This approach is particularly relevant when aesthetics matter as much as sonic impact: reception halls, corporate stages, places of worship, hotels, theatres or outdoor events.
For DJs, bands, sound engineers and events where the cover must remain consistent
ELEMENTS MK2 is equally suited to speeches, conferences and presentations, as well as concerts, weddings, DJ parties and live entertainment. The 110 Sub A subwoofer prioritizes a compact format and natural reproduction of the lower midrange, making it ideal for vocals, background music and professional events. The 115 Sub A provides greater headroom, extended low-frequency response and sound pressure for more demanding musical performances.
For a mobile DJ or a small- to medium-sized band setup, the system offers a neat installation without multiplying the number of visible speakers. Event professionals, meanwhile, benefit from more consistent cover between the front rows and the back of the room. Adding columns primarily improves projection range and dispersion consistency, rather than simply increasing the sound level.
SnapLock, intelligent DSP and Milan AVB networking: controlled sound from the stage to the back of the room
Each ELEMENTS MK2 635 column features six 3.25-inch loudspeakers combined with phase-plug waveguides. This design optimizes 90-degree horizontal dispersion and provides more even listening throughout the audience area. The enclosure's generous volume also contributes to more consistent lower-midrange reproduction, which is essential for giving vocals, acoustic instruments and music mixes greater body.
The HK Audio SnapLock system provides mechanical assembly and signal transmission between the subwoofer, spacer and columns. A simple operation is all it takes to create a stable, secure connection with no play and no visible cable. This robust design meets the demands of repeated transport and setup encountered in rental and touring applications.
The built-in DSP automatically detects the number of installed mid/high modules and applies the appropriate crossover settings. Users can therefore maintain a balanced response without complex manual adjustment. The Flat, Contour and Voice presets make it quick to adapt the sound for neutral, musical or speech-focused reproduction. A Remote preset is also available for custom configurations.
Thanks to its Ethercon RJ45 connectors, ELEMENTS MK2 supports network control via the DSP Control software as well as Milan AVB audio transport. Audio and control can therefore be carried over a single network cable. The DSP XLR output simplifies the integration of additional speakers, monitors, nearfield fills or delay lines, including active models that are not connected to the network. The system can also be expanded with a LINEAR 5 MK2 115 Sub A subwoofer for more ambitious low-frequency configurations and cardioid setups.
