Pulze Jr.: The Pulze spirit in a portable format
The Pulze Jr. carries the DNA of the Pulze family in a compact chassis designed for easy mobility. Hotone integrates a specially tuned enclosure inspired by the Pulze design to maintain a wide stereo image and faithful reproduction despite the reduced size. The idea is simple: to regain the feel of a "serious" amp and pleasant sound projection, whether placed on a desk, taken to a light rehearsal, or used as a travel companion. An amp made to play anywhere: home, studio, rehearsal
With its 20W stereo power and full-range speakers, the Hotone Pulze Jr. targets musicians who want a complete sound without the bulk: electric guitar, but also other instruments thanks to its modeling approach and audio-optimized listening modes. At home, it allows working with a metronome, launching drum patterns, and looping without turning on a computer. In the studio, the USB makes it a direct solution for recording, re-amping, and quickly capturing demos. In low-volume rehearsals or backstage, it serves as a personal amp, compact monitor, or mini stereo rig to prepare a set.Regarding styles, its palette is broad: funk and pop with defined clean tones, rock with dynamic crunches, metal and modern with tighter saturations, not to mention acoustic sounds via dedicated simulations for arrangements or songwriting.
Modeling, IR, AI, and workflow: a true rig in a small combo
The Pulze Jr. relies on the CDCM HD & F.I.R.E. modeling system and offers 52 amp models, 48 cabinet models, and a collection of pedals and effects covering drive, dynamics, filters, modulations, delays, reverbs, and more. The editing is designed as a "pedalboard": up to 7 modules simultaneously, with a modifiable signal chain order, convenient for placing a boost before the amp, reverb after, or testing more creative combinations. To go further, the amp accepts the addition of impulse responses: up to 20 user IRs, with 24-bit / 48kHz processing. It also includes 5 Celestion speaker IRs (Celestion Digital), useful for quickly regaining classic cabinet tones. Finally, it opens the door to modern workflows with support for Sound Clone/NAM files (up to 10), AI-generated presets, a stem splitter to create backing tracks, and intelligent accompaniments to spark inspiration when you just want to play.
A modern sonic signature: wide, clean, and surprisingly "ample"
Thanks to its stereo format and tuned enclosure, the Pulze Jr. aims for a sense of space rarely achieved on a small amp: ping-pong delays, chorus, and reverbs breathe, and clean sounds gain width. The modeling engine emphasizes expressiveness: clear attack, controlled dynamics, and clean transitions between clean, crunch, and saturation. High-gain sounds remain clear and usable at moderate volume, while more vintage tones benefit from well-balanced natural compression through amp models and the effects section. This is an amp that prioritizes fidelity and versatility: ideal for switching presets without surprises and maintaining a consistent sound both on headphones and through speakers.Technical specifications
