Sound

The flamed maple top delivers a rather bright and "tight" signature, with appreciable definition on attacks and harmonics. The sapele back and sides complement with warm mids and good presence, useful for keeping the bass audible in acoustic playing. The 3-piece nyatoh/maple neck contributes to a feeling of stability and balanced response, while the rosewood fingerboard helps round out the tone with focused mids. When plugged in, the combination of under-saddle pickup and AEQ-2T preamp aims for a natural sound, with simple bass and treble controls, and the built-in tuner saves time during rehearsals and on stage.
