The T1 humbuckers deliver a firm low-end response, mids that "speak," and precise highs-ideal for switching from sharp pick playing to a rounder fingerstyle. The Ibanez Custom 3-band EQ combined with the 3-position mid selector allows quick tonal shaping: from direct, punchy, and edgy to a more hi-fi, wide, and detailed signature. The bypass provides access to a more organic passive mode, useful for regaining a natural tone or securing a set. On the luthiery side, the ash top and ash/okoumé wings enhance attack and projection, while the maple/walnut neck-through construction boosts sustain and register continuity.
