This 8-string electric guitar is primarily aimed at intermediate to advanced guitarists who play with a pick and seek a reliable platform for modern playing: progressive metal, djent, death, industrial, and all music styles requiring a tight attack and excellent clarity in distortion. Its ergonomics and slim neck also suit fast runs, alternate picking, and very "tight" rhythms.

Sound Characteristics

The Lundgren Model M8P pickup is designed to remain intelligible under saturation, with a firm low-end response and definition that helps separate notes in complex chords. The ash body provides a sharp attack and strong presence, while the rosewood fingerboard balances the tone with focused mids and a more "organic" feel under the fingers. Together with the FX Edge III-8 double-locking bridge, this setup promotes a precise, stable, and punchy sound, particularly effective for low tunings and syncopated riffs.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

To maintain the original feel and balance, favor an 8-string set of strings with gauges from .009 to .065 (or a single .065 string to replicate the supplied configuration).
