The 5-piece panga panga/purpleheart neck, reinforced with titanium rods, stabilizes tuning and enhances resonance. The Nordstrand Big Break pickups, split-coil soapbar format, offer a powerful and gritty range but remain as articulate as single coils, without hum. The Ibanez 3-band preamp, with a 3-position mid-frequency switch, allows precise sculpting of your place in the mix. Activating the bypass switches the bass to passive mode, and the treble knob becomes a master tone control, ideal for more vintage colors.

To get the most out of this 34" scale SR: a 4-string bass long scale string set (type 45-105 or equivalent according to your preferences), wide non-slip strap (standard strap locks), stable floor stand for bass, clip-on tuner.
