The Art Grain poplar burl top on basswood promotes clear attack and well-defined mids, while the sapele back and sides add warmth and controlled brightness. The thin body favors a more controlled projection than a large dreadnought format, often resulting in easier handling once amplified (less intrusive resonances on stage). Plugged in, the undersaddle piezo pickup combined with the AEQ-2T preamp delivers a precise and responsive signal: the bass/treble EQ allows quick tone adjustment depending on the venue, and the built-in tuner secures your tuning changes between songs.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

For transport, the Ibanez ICB540-BK gig bag is recommended. To maintain the original feel, choose a set of steel strings gauge 12-53 (0.012-0.053), identical to the factory setup.
