This guitar is primarily aimed at the beginner (or casual player) who wants an acoustic capable of handling both chords and arpeggios, and easily switching to amplification. It suits pop, folk, vocal accompaniment, as well as the basics of acoustic rock. The 25.6" / 650 mm scale length and original 12-53 gauge strings offer a good balance between tuning stability, volume, and comfort.

Sound

The spruce top delivers clarity, attack, and good definition for chords, while the meranti back and sides promote a warm and balanced response, especially pleasant for accompaniment. The dreadnought shape enhances projection and bass, and the cutaway facilitates playing higher up the neck. Plugged in, the combination of undersaddle pickup and AEQ-2T preamp provides a direct and usable sound, with Volume, Bass, Treble controls and an integrated tuner to stay in tune under all circumstances.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

For safe transport, the recommended references are the IAB540-BK gig bag and the FS40DA case. For amplification, a 6.35 mm jack cable (1/4" output) is required. As replacements, a set of acoustic strings gauge 12-53 matches the original gauge.
