Summary of This Method

Designed to develop a solid language on the guitar, this method offers a progression linking theory and instrumental practice. It begins with essential general principles (harmonic landmarks, form organization, understanding chord functions) to make the work immediately applicable in musical situations. The goal is to build reflexes on the fretboard while maintaining a clear vision of the chord chart and the role of each chord.

The core content revolves around arpeggios, presented methodically to cover the most commonly used sounds: major, minor, dominant 7, major 7, and minor 7 arpeggios. The method also addresses augmented colors (with augmented fifth) and their contextual variants, a key point to enrich tensions and add more depth to lines. Each arpeggio family is conceived as a melodic construction tool, useful both for soloing and accompaniment.

To go beyond simple memorization, the method introduces substitution concepts in improvisation to open alternative paths over the same progression and vary resolutions. A section dedicated to "orchestra"-style improvisation accompaniment allows working on listening, timing, and harmonic coherence, as in an ensemble context. Finally, studies synthesize the acquired skills: they serve as a musical laboratory to stabilize fingering, tone, phrasing, and form transitions, while consolidating arpeggio vocabulary.
