From iLoud Micro Monitor to Pro: an evolution focused on "reference"
Designed as the direct evolution of the ubiquitous iLoud Micro Monitor, the iLoud Micro Monitor Pro takes the initial goal further: offering true active studio monitors capable of analytical listening in a compact format. The integration of the ARC software (room calibration and control), already at the core of the iLoud MTM MKII and iLoud Precision families, clearly positions this Pro version as a "serious" work tool: less coloration, more clarity on tonal balance, dynamics, and soundstage depth.
Result: you gain a reliable foundation for making mixing decisions, even when the room acoustics are challenging (small spaces, desk against a wall, reverberant rooms, etc.).
Compact monitoring for producers, mixers, and creators on the go
The iLoud Micro Monitor Pro is aimed at musicians, beatmakers, sound engineers, and content creators who want precise monitoring without relying on a perfectly treated control room. On a desk, in a bedroom, in a mobile studio, or on the move, these monitors facilitate evaluation of key mix elements: vocal placement, kick/bass balance, upper midrange aggressiveness, cymbal brightness, and reverb level.
The compact size and weight also make it an excellent choice for hybrid setups: composing on headphones then validating on speakers, editing and post-production, or checking a mix on a coherent and portable system.
ARC, DSP, and filters: precise control over mix translation
ARC Calibration: a more neutral response, room by room
The major asset of this Pro version is ARC compatibility, designed to reduce the gap between what you hear and what is actually in your session. By correcting certain room-related effects (peaks, dips, imbalances), you get a more stable and reliable listening experience, which speeds up decision-making and improves translation on other systems (car, headphones, consumer speakers).
DSP processing and onboard equalization
The system is fully DSP controlled to ensure consistency between speakers and clean reproduction, with clear separation of frequency ranges. The built-in filter settings allow quick adaptation of the monitors' behavior to their placement: adjustment of the high spectrum (High Shelf), low spectrum (Low Shelf), correction of the "desktop" effect (Desktop), and bass extension/management (LF Extension). This flexibility is especially useful in home studios, where placement is rarely ideal.
Active 2-way design and Class D amplification
With a 2-way active architecture (3" woofer/midrange and 1" tweeter) and Class D amplification, the iLoud Micro Monitor Pro targets an excellent size-to-performance ratio. The Bass-Reflex enclosure helps maintain a solid low end while keeping a compact form factor, while bi-amplification (LF and HF) contributes to precision and control, especially on transients.

Questions frequently asked
Can the iLoud Micro Monitor Pro be room calibrated?
ARC compatibility enables calibration aimed at correcting certain imbalances related to room acoustics. This feature helps stabilize listening in a small space or near a wall.
What inputs are available on these studio monitors?
The connectivity includes an XLR input and an RCA input. It allows connection to sources compatible with these two formats.
What is the frequency response of the iLoud Micro Monitor Pro?
The specified frequency response ranges from 50 Hz to 20,000 Hz with a tolerance of +/-2 dB. The low-frequency extension can be set to -3 dB at either 50 Hz or 80 Hz via the LF Extension filter.
Can the speakers be adapted for use on a desk?
The Desktop filter applies -3 dB at 250 Hz and +4 dB at 1.2 kHz to adjust the sound related to desk placement. High Shelf and Low Shelf settings of +2/-3 dB are also available at 8 kHz and 100 Hz.
Are these monitors suitable for a mobile studio setup?
With dimensions of 208 x 153 x 105 mm and a weight of 1.37 kg per speaker, this compact format fits into a portable production setup. The active two-way design combines a 3-inch driver, a 1-inch tweeter, and amplification of 30 W RMS for lows and 20 W RMS for highs.
