With iLoud MTM MKII, IK Multimedia retains the compact format that made the MTM series so successful (ideal for a desktop, home studio, or mobile setup) and evolves it to meet today’s demanding mixing needs. iLoud MTM MKII is aimed at producers, beatmakers, mix engineers, and creators working at close range, often in untreated rooms. Its format makes it easy to place on either side of a screen, on a console, or on stands, while maintaining a consistent listening experience. Controlled vertical dispersion helps limit the impact of reflections from the desktop, while wider horizontal dispersion expands the sweet spot for more comfortable mixing. Thanks to its output level and calibration and adjustment options, it can also serve as a control monitor in an FOH setup, or be integrated into an immersive installation when space is an important consideration.

What bass response is specified?
The frequency response is specified from 48 Hz to 28 kHz at ±2 dB, with an extension down to 36 Hz at -10 dB. The LF Extension switch allows adjustment of the -3 dB point to 40, 50, 60, or 80 Hz for use with a subwoofer.
How does the integrated ARC calibration work?
An automatic digital calibration is built into the speaker to correct the listening experience according to the room. When connected via USB to a computer, the ARC X integration allows fine-tuning and access to over 20 listening system emulations. The USB Type B port also serves for firmware updates via X-MONITOR.
