808 Studio 2 is designed to create solid 808 basses that hold the mix, clean subs, and melodic lines with trap-style glide. Ideal for sculpting a punchy low-end, layering kicks, or transforming an attack sample into a sidechained groove. Whether starting from a preset or a sample, it quickly delivers a powerful and controlled low spectrum.

Main Features

Reliable Sub-bass and Additional Layers

A dedicated Sub Osc provides a stable foundation, with "fat" and overdrive modes to widen the low end. Two additional oscillators each have their own low-pass filter to thicken the texture without muddying the sub.

Drag-and-Drop Modulation

Assign modulation envelopes and LFOs to almost any parameter with a single gesture to create lively 808s: sharp attacks, pitch movements, or subtle controlled wobble.

Integrated 808 Sequencer

The built-in sequencer manages overlapping notes for the signature pitch glide. It comes with starter sequences to speed up your ideas and quickly test rhythmic variations.

Smart Sampler and Sidechain

Drag and drop your own samples or choose from included kicks and 808s. The internal sidechain uses the sample as a source and ducks the oscillators and sub to let the kick transient pass through and increase impact.

Studio-Quality Effects

A rack of 5 reorderable effects: overdrive/distortion, compressor, 3-band EQ, chorus, and filter (HP/LP). The chorus can be applied only to the highs to keep the sub clean and monolithic.
