KA-15: a "must-have" in the Kala range
The KA-15 series has established itself as a standard at Kala thanks to consistent manufacturing and an immediately recognizable sound identity. Available in several formats and colors, it maintains the brand's spirit: an accessible, serious instrument that is inspiring enough to accompany both beginners' first chords and the progress of more advanced musicians.
For whom and for which styles?
The Kala KA-15 Concert is aimed at beginners seeking a reliable and pleasant ukulele, as well as intermediate players who want a simple, effective, and musical instrument. Its concert format is well suited for strumming (pop, folk, variety), soft arpeggios, and solo melodic lines, with a natural feel.
Sound
With its mahogany top, this concert ukulele favors a warm, balanced, and slightly woody sound, ideal for playing with a felt pick or fingers. The GraphTech NuBone nut and saddle contribute to clear note-to-note articulation while supporting resonance and tuning stability. The Aquila Super Nylgut strings provide a clear attack and lively tone, making for an expressive and easy-to-play instrument.
Recommended compatible accessories
For maintenance and replacement, you can stick with a set of Aquila Super Nylgut strings suited to the concert format to maintain the same feel and response. A gig bag is available as an option (choose a model specifically designed for concert ukuleles).

Customer reviews
What customers say
Summarized and selected by AI from recent customer reviews
Customers praised this concert ukulele for its "good quality" and "beautiful finish" with positive sound. However, multiple shoppers noted wood color inconsistencies versus photos - the mahogany appears lighter than advertised. Initial tuning requires patience as strings need several days to settle, but afterward stability is excellent.

Good quality Kala 15C ukulele but I am a bit disappointed anyway because the color was darker mahogany wood and the handle was light wood on the photos on the site which created a pretty nice contrast. You will see on the photos of the one I received, it's not that at all.
Never mind, the product is of high quality. You will still have to be patient to grant it. Several days of regular tuning will be necessary for the strings to finish their honing. After, on the other hand, there is no need to touch it, it moves more.
I obviously recommend this product, just a small downside about the colors that do not correspond to the photos on the site.Automatically translated
