Kala Ka-15S Bundle - BSTOCK

The KA-15 Series: The Essential Kala Available in Multiple Formats

A true flagship for Kala, the KA-15 series has established itself over time as a reliable choice in the ukulele world. Available in several formats and colors, it maintains a consistent approach: careful craftsmanship and tonewoods known for their musicality, such as mahogany. The KA-15 in soprano format captures the "traditional" spirit of the ukulele: compact, direct, and immediately inspiring.

For Whom and Which Styles?

This Kala KA-15 soprano is aimed both at beginners seeking a reliable and pleasant instrument and at intermediate musicians looking for a lightweight ukulele, easy to carry everywhere, and effective in the studio as well as at home. Its soprano size is particularly suited to pop, folk, reggae, Hawaiian rhythms, and chord playing. It is an excellent choice for working on rhythmic placement, strumming, and initial melodic lines.

The Sound

Mahogany provides a warm and round tonal signature, with present midrange that highlights chords and rhythms. The satin finish allows the instrument to breathe and promotes a natural response, pleasant for acoustic playing. The Aquila Super Nylgut strings contribute to precise attack and good stability, with the soft touch typical of the ukulele and balanced projection for a soprano format. The GraphTech NuBone nuts contribute to note clarity and good definition, useful for both strumming and fingerpicking.
