What you need to know
- Transformation into a true floor-standing system: adding the BXT modules expands the Kii THREE system with 16 additional drivers for more solidity, headroom, and impact in the low-frequency range.
- Unique concept "linear source + controlled horizontal directivity": a more stable projection, a clearer stereo image, and a more consistent listening experience, even in compact rooms.
- Extended bass and higher SPL while maintaining cardioid operation: the speaker limits interaction with the room, helping to better judge bass and balance.
- Scalable and secure: existing Kii THREE units can be upgraded at any time via the BXT modules, and the Kii THREE remain portable and usable on their own.

From the Kii THREE to the BXT system: the "high-end listening" evolution of the range
The Kii THREE BXT system builds on the DNA of the Kii THREE (DSP processing, temporal coherence, cardioid approach) and pushes it towards a "high-end listening" format designed to deliver more bandwidth and more level without losing control. Integration is designed to be seamless: a Kii THREE detects the presence of the BXT and automatically adapts the software. The result: you retain the flexibility of a modular system, capable of switching from a portable configuration to a larger, more ambitious floor-standing setup.
Who is it for, and what studio uses?
The Kii THREE BXT kit is aimed at production, mixing, and mastering studios seeking an ultra-transparent and reliable bass response, with controlled behavior in acoustically imperfect environments. The cardioid principle helps reduce energy sent to the rear, which aids in better controlling room and wall-related effects. Interestingly, the "linear source" format can also be an asset in small rooms: the perception of balance and depth remains stable, and mix decisions (kick, sub, low-mids, reverbs) are made faster.
Key Technologies: DSP, Directivity, and Full Control via Kii Control
A powerful and coherent active architecture
The system is an active monitoring system controlled by DSP with integrated amplification. Filtering is handled by an active crossover with wave focusing, aiming for precise reproduction, clean transitions between frequency bands, and a stable image. To adapt to modern production constraints, you can select a phase response according to your priorities: linear phase for temporal coherence, or minimal latency for comfort during recording and latency-sensitive workflows.
Controlled directivity and installation adaptation
One of the major strengths of the Kii THREE BXT is the directivity control, designed to limit room influence and make listening more repeatable. The integration of a selectable correction (floor-standing, near a wall, in a corner) with 14 positions allows optimizing tonal balance according to actual studio placement. Add to this an integrated tone control and limiters to secure high-level sessions, and you get a system designed to work long, loud, and clean.
Kii Control: central control and comprehensive connectivity
Included in the kit, the Kii Control becomes the system's command center: volume management, input selection via touch switch, dedicated software menu, OLED screen, and IR function. On the studio integration side, you have digital and analog inputs to cover most configurations, with the necessary cables included to simplify installation and startup.

Questions frequently asked
Is the BXT compatible with Kii THREE speakers?
The BXT module is designed to work with a Kii THREE, which detects its presence and automatically adjusts its software. This integration allows switching from a Kii THREE setup to a more extended floor-standing system.
What is the system's bass response?
The stated frequency response reaches 20 Hz at -3 dB, notably thanks to the system's twelve 6.5-inch woofers.
What inputs are available with the Kii Control?
The Kii Control centralizes volume and input selection via its touch interface and OLED screen. Available connections include analog, AES/EBU, KiiLink SPDIF, TOSLink, and USB. The necessary cables are included.
Is the system suitable for a small control room?
Thanks to its controlled directivity of 4.8 dB between 54 Hz and 1 kHz, the system limits energy sent to the rear. A placement correction over 14 positions allows adaptation on stands, near walls, or in corners.
What are the dimensions and power of the Kii Audio Three BXT System White?
Measuring 20 × 120 × 40 cm and weighing 51 kg per speaker, this setup requires a stable installation. The custom Class D amplification delivers 2,000 W for the system.
