I must say that this cable exceeded my expectations! I used it with the basic Bird SM1 microphone and my Vox mini 5 amp. With the original cable delivered with the microphone and XLR/jack adapter, you had to turn up the power and volume to full to barely hear the sound of the microphone stuck to your mouth. I was also questioning the amp and the microphone but when trying the Klotz cable, I was very surprised by the power found. I was able to put my amp to 1.5 watts (5 max) and reduce the volume requested while being away from the microphone and also took advantage of the simultaneous use of the guitar on the same amp as was my need without any interference.
