Designed to top the arranger range, the KORG Pa5X 61 carries the Pa DNA (Styles, SongBook, live performance) into a more modern approach: redesigned interface, enhanced architecture, and accelerated workflow. The result: a professional arranger keyboard that is both robust for hosting, concerts, and gigs, and comprehensive enough for daily composing, arranging, and recording.
Keyboard Design
The 61-key semi-weighted keyboard (C2-C7), velocity-sensitive and equipped with aftertouch offers a responsive touch to naturally switch from piano playing to organs, pads, and synth sounds. The Split, Dual, and Layer modes allow separation of the left hand, stacking multiple timbres, and creating rich registrations, with adjustable velocity curves to tailor the response to your playing style.
Sound Quality
The EDS-XP (Enhanced Definition Synthesis - Expanded) engine paired with 24 stereo oscillators and up to 160 voices of polyphony covers a vast repertoire: pianos, vintage keyboards, synths, orchestras, and world instruments, with thousands of sounds and hundreds of styles ready to play. The "round robin" drum kits enhance the natural feel of performance, while the Smooth Sound Transition (SST) ensures seamless changes of sounds and styles, ideal for live use. The Pa5X 61 does not have built-in speakers and remains compatible with the PaAS amplification system for a simple and direct monitoring solution.
