KA-P1: An 88-Key Designed to Play "Right Away," in the Spirit of KORE 2.0
Designed as an accessible and versatile 88-key digital piano, the KA-P1 focuses on the essentials: serious touch, ready-to-use sounds, and quick handling. Its KORE 2.0 library relies on 2 GB of samples to provide a coherent sound base, while its 28 factory programs cover common pianist needs (practice, creation, accompaniment, group playing). The concept is clear: an instrument that fits equally well in a studio corner or rehearsal room, without unnecessary complexity.
Keyboard Design
The KA-P1 features a fully weighted 88-key keyboard to replicate the resistance and inertia sought on a piano. The 4-zone graded hammer action (H1 Ivory) enhances realism by offering a heavier bass and lighter treble for better control of articulation and dynamics. The touch sensitivity adjustable across 4 levels allows you to tailor the response to your playing style, whether very delicate or more forceful. For quick navigation between sounds and settings, the LCD screen provides clear reading, especially appreciated daily.
Sound Quality
The KORE 2.0 engine is based on 2 GB of samples to deliver detailed timbres with dynamic response suited for piano playing. The 256-note polyphony offers ample margin to let chords, resonances, and layer stacks breathe without unwanted note cutoffs. Regarding sound projection, the instrument features a 30 W system (2 x 15 W) powering 4 stereo speakers: an ideal setup for working without extra equipment, with sound presence sufficient to energize a rehearsal or accompany voice and instrument.
Built-in Effects
Reverb (to place the piano in a space), Chorus (to widen and thicken certain sounds), and EQ with bass and treble adjustment to adapt the sound to the room, headphones, or a PA system.
