A Model Focused on the Piano Experience, at the Heart of a Modern Setup
Designed for those who want a simple-to-use 88-key digital piano, the KA-P1 focuses on the essentials: convincing touch, effective sounds, and clear ergonomics. It positions itself as a versatile piano keyboard, comfortable both for daily practice (scales, dynamics, independence) and group playing thanks to Split, Layer, and Duo modes, as well as built-in amplification suitable for many situations.
Keyboard Design
The KA-P1 features an 88-key keyboard with graded hammer action on 4 zones (H1 Ivory), fully weighted to replicate the feel of an acoustic piano: heavier resistance in the lower register and lighter response moving towards the treble. Touch sensitivity is adjustable across 4 levels to tailor the feel to your playing style (light attack, more percussive playing, stage dynamics) and optimize precision from pianissimo to fortissimo. To maintain quick control during practice and rehearsal, the LCD screen clearly displays programs, parameters, and essential settings.
Sound Quality
The sound engine is based on the KORE 2.0 library, powered by 2 GB of premium samples: the goal is to deliver credible and immediately usable tones, with musical responsiveness on piano sounds as well as complementary tones. Thanks to 256-note polyphony, you have plenty of headroom for layering (Layer), playing with both hands using sustain, and enriching the sound with effects without note dropout. The KA-P1 offers 28 factory programs to cover common needs, and 10 rhythmic patterns to work on timing or provide a simple accompaniment base. For sound projection, the 30 W amplification (2 x 15 W) and 4 stereo speakers deliver a full and balanced sound, convenient for playing without external speakers.
