The HyVibe 10: an "enhanced" acoustic bass in the LÂG range

The HV10BCE marks a turning point in the HyVibe 10 series by applying the HyVibe philosophy to an acoustic bass. Its HyVibe H2 preamp relies on actuators placed under the bridge to vibrate the soundboard: the bass then becomes a true speaker, capable of delivering effects and loops naturally, very close to the acoustic sound.

This electro-acoustic bass is designed for intermediate to advanced bassists who want to play without an amp, practice with a metronome, enrich their playing with atmospheres, or build layers with the looper. It is particularly suited to acoustic contexts (pop, folk, chanson, unplugged), home studio, and creative sessions where connectivity and built-in effects become real composition tools.

Sound

The solid red cedar top provides a quick response and warm tone, ideal for achieving round and present lows while maintaining good definition. The Khaya mahogany back and sides enhance projection and overall balance, with a musical midrange character that helps the bass find its place in an acoustic ensemble. The jumbo body shape favors volume and breadth in the lower spectrum, while the HyVibe System 2 technology allows layering effects (reverb, chorus, delay, etc.) and loops without losing the instrument's "wood" DNA.
