A string designed for everyday versatility
This G string from the Aurora series aims for an easy-to-master musical compromise: presence in the attack, a clear low register, and controlled projection. It is a relevant choice for those seeking a responsive string without tipping into an overly bright sound.
For which violist?
Ideal for beginner to intermediate violists looking to gain comfort and stability, and equally interesting for regular practice (orchestra, ensemble, classical repertoire, contemporary music) thanks to its tonal balance.
Sound characteristics
The nylon core provides a softer feel under the fingers and promotes smooth sound production, while the flat stainless steel winding enhances definition and focus of the G string. The result: a clear low register, direct response, and a tone that is both warm and precise.
