Historical Context and Positioning in the Range

The Jam Block is one of Latin Percussion's iconic accessories, designed to capture the spirit of the traditional wood block with durability suited for stage and modern playing demands. The Stealth LP1208-K version is positioned as a versatile "medium pitch" model, easy to integrate into an acoustic or percussion setup.

Who This Drum/Instrument Is For

This Jam Block is aimed at drummers and percussionists of all levels seeking a clear and reliable percussive sound. It is particularly suitable for styles where rhythmic precision and projection are essential: rock, funk, pop, Latin music, marching bands, and contemporary music.

Features and Innovations

Thanks to its Jenigor construction and reinforced bracket, the LP1208-K withstands strong strikes while remaining stable. Its mounting system with an eyelet bolt facilitates installation on most percussion rods and stands with a 9.5 mm (3/8) format, allowing for quick and secure placement.

Sound Characteristics

Jenigor provides a very consistent response: a pronounced attack, a sharp sound, and excellent projection, with less sensitivity to humidity or temperature changes than a wooden block. The result is a modern "wood block" timbre, precise in the mix, perfect for repetitive patterns and accents that need to remain clear.
